Revisiting the new version of freecad (FreeCAD 1.0.0). Compiled fine as far as I can tell but won't start. Error message below.

(qt.qpa.plugin) From 6.5.0, xcb-cursor0 or libxcb-cursor0 is needed to load the Qt xcb platform plugin.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Available platform plugins are: minimal, wayland-egl, wayland, linuxfb, xcb, offscreen, vkkhrdisplay, vnc.

I did re-emerge again as suggested but no change -- got same message.
I tried emerging any variants containing "cursor0" as indicated in error text but non were detected.
I also tried emerging anything containing "xcb" with nothing found.
Need some insights. thanks, tom kosvic |
