I Followed the wiki to setup Rust but I kept getting linking errors saying ld didn't recognize output, so I visited the Rust docs. It mentions that LLD has to be used when using -C linker-plugin-lto. So I switched to Clang+LLD, but now I get different errors.
When running Code: | emerge -avuDNt dev-lang/rust |
I get this.
Relevant files in /etc/portage:

You probably ran out of RAM. You'll need to add swap and probably also reduce your -j jobs. On 64-bit this should finish, but slowly... Or just use rust-bin.
32-bit, it could fail and we don't have a solution yet. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
