Hello,
I have a wired headphones connected.
After last upgrade of kde and pipewire I have a strange problem.
Right after booting I have no sound. No devices in the sound volume applet in KDE
But when I disconnect the cable and connect again - headphones are recognized and everything works fine.
I don't like it. Can you help make the sound work all the time?
Code: | [ebuild R ] media-video/pipewire-1.2.3:0/0.4::gentoo USE="X bluetooth dbus pipewire-alsa readline sound-server ssl v4l -doc -echo-cancel -extra -ffmpeg -flatpak -gsettings -gstreamer -ieee1394 -jack-client -jack-sdk -liblc3 -lv2 -man -modemmanager -roc (-selinux) (-system-service) -systemd -test -zeroconf" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)" 0 KiB |

I understand that this is unusuall problem
It gets even more unusuall. My wired headset has two cables, one for microphone and one for earphones. To have a sound I need to disconnect microphone cable.
Can you try point me to the place where to search for answers about what creates the reaction to connecting and disconnecting headphones/speakers to the sound card (onboard)? _________________ Mark Twain said it best:
