Hi, sys-kernel/gentoo-kernel makes maintenance kernel easier. Installing this package can e.g. create initramfs using dracut and UKI. Is there any clean way to invoke routines executed after the kernel is built? Does sys-kernel/gentoo-kernel support this scenario in any way?
Example, after installing gentoo-kernel, I decide that I would like to change the dracut configuration. I don't need to compile everything again. However, I would like everything that would take place after compilation to be executed (dracut, uki, etc.) |

Yes. Code: | emerge --config sys-kernel/gentoo-kernel | ... or if you have more than one version installled, then you need to specify the version of gentoo-kernel: Code: | emerge --config =sys-kernel/gentoo-kernel-<version> |
