Hi,
as per the title, the module sound/soc/snd-sof.ko is undefined when running | Code: | | make && make modules_install |
using the latest gentoo kernel "sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-6.6.62-1".
I chose the manual configuration as I usually do on my machines but I never had an error when compiling the kernel. Of course, I went through the kernel setup following the Gentoo Handbook for the sound card settings.

Any help is much appreciated. |

I decided to take the longest route and start all over again...let's see if this time the same error shows up again...I know...my choice...  |

Please show the full error message printed by the build.
What do you mean "start all over again"? At worst, you might need to wipe out the generated kernel files and rebuild, though in almost all cases, Make should do the right thing without that. Reinstalling Gentoo is unnecessary. |
