I am using systemd, but when I install sddm version 0.21, I cannot access the graphical login interface. It will go black and have a command line style cursor that cannot be moved.
Version 0.18 can be accessed, but it cannot restart or shut down the operating system from KDE. It will go black and display a movable mouse cursor. The kernel is the latest gentoo sources: 6.6.67, and the same issue applies to kernel version 6.6.62.
I have an installation using Gentoo sources: 4.14 kernel on different SSD systems using sddm: 0.21 on the same computer hardware, and it has no problem. However, I encountered the same issue when using the new kernel.
May I ask what problem has occurred with it? What more information do I need to provide?
I use Nvidia drivers driver, and I can use the system normally through LightTDM, but I don't like it. thank you. |
