Hi.
I use fancontrol to manage fan speed for CPU and GPU.
I feel that main fan (extractor connected to "fan2" on Motherboard, "fan1" beeing CPU fan) runs mainly too slow. But I don't know how to configure fan speed and which temperature to watch.
Anyway, in most cases, automatic control is fine. Could you explain me how is managed automatic fancontrol ? Is it linux kernel or simply motherboard who controls it ? Is there a way to configure a higher level for fan speed without setting up a correlation between fan speed and a specific temperature ?
Thanks for your help. _________________ "iMack" : GA-H97M-D3H, Intel i7 4790, 16Go DDR3, Sapphire RX570 4Go, 2x SSD 256Go, HDD 500Go + Zpool 3x2To / Clover - macOS Mojave / Gentoo-Xfce |
