when i update the system, then obs cant start in common user, but can start in root user.

| So it simply doesn't open at all? Are there any more log messages being printed after "info: [pipewire] Header version: 1.2.6"? Surely there would have to be an error message somewhere. |

It seems like OBS works as root but fails for the common user due to a permissions issue, possibly with Wayland or PipeWire. To resolve this, try the following:
Ensure your user is part of the necessary groups (like video, audio, and render).
Check permissions on the OBS config files and make sure your user has access.
Try running OBS with sudo (to test if it's a user-specific issue), or reconfigure your PipeWire/Wayland setup for your user.
If the issue persists, you might need to check for missing dependencies or conflicts introduced during the system update. |
