(cross)libreoffice: Could not find a version of the Boost::D

[dE_logics]

I'm trying to cross compile libreoffice for another machine using the other machine's -march=native CFLAGS (which translates to something like -march=alderlake...). The build host and target machine (for which libreoffice is being compiled) are both amd64 but are processors which are generations apart.

libreoffice fails to compile with crossdev with error message Could not find a version of the Boost::Date_Time library!. To debug the issue I was searching for Date_Time in /usr/include/, but I could not find it anywhere. This error does not occur when the toolchain assumes that it's NOT cross compiling either using crossdev's toolchain (CBUILD was set to CHOST of the target machine) or the host's toolchain (CBUILD = build host = CHOST).

It has no problems building naively with the same portage tree and configuration (including USE).

in case you where wondering --
I can't build in chroot because the installation of QT in the target is also cross compiled and a cross compiled QT cannot be used to build QT packages.

QT is needed for libreoffice[qt].

QT and packages depending on it cannot be build in chroot with -march=alderlake on zen because of --

Has anyone had success building libreoffice using crossdev in the 1st place?
