Hi to all, I have a problem with font setting in xfce since the last update

I have to set the font size every login (Settings->Appearance->Fonts), the size it's correct but doens't match what I see. I have to change it to another value and after reset it, so it works...but I should do this every login

Can somebody help me please? Many thanks

I have been having exactly the same problem for a long time.

Maybe we should file a bug report but for which package?I am uncertain..

for the moment I found a fix...go to Settings->Appearance->Font and check Custom DPI setting option (I put 96)

Hi,

With the update to Xfce 4.20 I had a strange bug (unrelated to your problem).
The only way I found to fix it was to reset the entire Xfce configuration to its defaults :

  1. logout from Xfce session
  2. login to TTY
  3. Code:
    $ mv ~/.config/xfce4 ~/.config/xfce4.old

  4. login to Xfce

Then the bug I had was no longer reproducible. You should give it a try.

I tried to increase the font size in Settings->Appearance->Font with Custom DPI setting unchecked , and after logout/login from/into the session, everything seems ok for me.
