Hi All,
Since 3 weeks I have a problem with Evolution which failed to start, this problem occured after an upgrade of system.
I know there are at least two posts on this forum for this problem but any of them allow me to fix the error.
Below information from system log :
/var/log/messages :
| Code: | Feb 22 09:24:52 himalaya kernel: traps: evolution[19857] trap int3 ip:7f9ffdba7b37 sp:7ffd37662b50 error:0 in libglib-2.0.so.0.8000.5[7f9ffdb5f000+a0000]

I know the problem don't come from Evolution because I installed the last version of the application, evolution-3.54.3, but the problem persist, according error message the problem seems to be due to the library libglib-2.0.so.0.8000.5 so the package dev-libs/glib-2.80.5-r1.

Are you using lightdm?

For me the best workaround was to set an environment variable NO_AT_BRIDGE=1.
