Good morning,
I recently started to use Gentoo's binary packages from Gentoo Mirrors (https://www.gentoo.org/downloads/mirrors/).
I noticed that qtwebengine (https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/dev-qt/qtwebengine) does not have the "pdfium" USE-Flag enabled by default, which means when emerging skanpage (https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/media-gfx/skanpage) and enabling the "pdfium" USE-Flag I need to recompile that qtwebengine monster for hours...
Naive question:
Is it possible to request the pdfium USE-Flag to be enabled by default for the qtwebengine binary package?

The thing with binhost packages is that they can not always suit everyone's needs, as this would require the maintainers to recompile the same package dozens of times to account for the many different possible USE flag combinations. If you're really unable or not willing to build qtwebengine from source, you could maybe email the binhost maintainers and ask if they're willing to provide qtwebengine binaries with the pdfium USE flag enabled. |

| Only in live for now not to cause a rebuild for everyone, aka it will be a default next version (qtwebengine-6.8.3, which is currently due to release March 18th if not delayed) |
