| Ciao a tutti! Il problema è il seguente, vorrei fare andare una scheda ieee802.11b della digicom con attacco usb ma nn so nè se è supportata dal kernel ne quale moduli devo abilitare per farla funzionare. Qualche idea? Grazie in anticipo per i post! |

Ehmmm, non riesco a trovare da nessuna parte il tipo di chipset che monta su! Come faccio? Non e' che qualcuno mi può aiutare a cercare questa informazione? La scheda in questione è una
Digicom Palladio Wave usb ieee 802.11b Dettagli

Qui è elencata (8E4136), ma non viene specificato il chipset, nè la compatibilità con linux-wlan-ng. 
Comunque dando un'occhiata ai driver per winzozz sembra che monti un chipset prism. Potresti provare con i driver orinoco, inclusi nel kernel, oppure proprio con i linux-wlan-ng (sono in portage). Nel forum dovresti trovare alcuni post che spiegano come configurarli.

| Prima però dovrei far vedere la ieee a linux e per il momento nn sono riuscito, il mio problema più grande è che e' una firewire con adattatore usb e nel kernel nn so cosa abilitare! |

Che dice dmesg quando colleghi la scheda? E quando carichi il modulo? Hai il supporto wireless lan nel kernel?
