Can anyone verify that postgresql can be emerged and run on a 64-bit AMD Opteron Gentoo system, particularly dual processor? I'm thinking of getting such a system but I must have postgresql working. Thanks. |

well... postgresql is unmasked in portage... that means it has been tested and it works... so the answer on your question is yes... _________________ Get a life...

I can't speak for it working on a dual opteron but I can say that it compiles fine on a single Athlon 64 3200 and I don't see why it wouldn't on a dually opteron. |
