Hi all,
I've just emerged qmailadmin and then I went to:
http://localhost/qmailadmin
and I get the following error:
Quote: | Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /qmailadmin/ on this server.
Apache/2.0.48 (Gentoo/Linux) mod_ssl/2.0.48 OpenSSL/0.9.7c PHP/4.3.4 Server at descartes Port 80 |
Any ideas?

Check your apache configuration, make sure you're allowing web access to the qmailadmin directory. Might want to double-check the permissions on the directory itself as well; the apache user (or whichever system user runs apache) should be able to get into the directory. _________________ Proud to be a... eh, forget it.

Had the same problem. I was able to get past that by playing with file permissions, but even then I could not log in to any of my domains (Invalid Login). I had to emerge a masked ebuild to solve it.
Code: |
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -p qmailadmin
|
Read the changelogs first and decide if you really want to do this and then remove the "-p". It's working fine for me and my boss thinks it works a little better than the old version (don't know why he thinks that, but if he's happy I'm happy). |

Hi there,
Check out if you have the correct maildir format for the postmaster. Qmailadmin creates accounts with the new .maildir format but requires that the postmaster have the Maildir
to fix, create a symbolic link ln -s .maildir Maildir in the postmaster directory.
Hope that helps _________________ This is linux Country......on a quiet night you can hear windows reboot! |
