Slow tabs with Epiphany

I have a anoying problem with Epiphany. When I open a new tab it takes a while ( few seconds)
before that new tabs appears. During this time Epiphany "freezes". Ok, this is only a few seconds
but it's getting anoying
I don't have this problem with mozilla, there I get the new tab immediantly. I also don't have this
problem with Epiphany on my AMD-AthlonXP system. So it seems to be a ADM64 problem.
Do more people with a AMD64 have this problem?
