It's kind of amazing to think that GNU / Linux has been created by people all across the world, volunteering their time for a greater good...
It's the cool little things like this that remind you of the people.. |

Yeah.
It's really good to see real people that want to do something well.
It's like communism the way it was meant to be, or an enlightent anarchy _________________ --

That's what I love about Linux.
People created it for us, they know what we want. |

from the current love-sources:
Code: | * steel300 reminds you that the patches here are sometimes
* experimental and could explode upon impact, make your [soda|pop] really
* bland, or other badness. We aren't responsible for that, but we will
* mention that these patches will also make your kernel ROCK LIKE NINJA.

Yep.
Open Source is the best because I know people are doing it because that's whay they love to do, instead of doing things only for money. _________________ Mastering Windows isn't impressive. But mastering Linux is. |

Linux is a wondeful OS because of so many of the small and simple little suprises it causes
You would never see a Windows application, or a Windows OS Installation itself say "go grab a pizza, because we are going to take a long time " |

I love the close knit community. Everybody is quick to help. I also love how customized everything is. Ones install is compiled for the specific computer's architecture. Simply amazing. Binaries are a think of the past for me after I've seen Gentoo.
Yes, the warm fuzzy feeling is normal. |

What I love is the fact the nothing is hidden. It's all clear: when they find bugs they tell you and the try to solve them as soon as possible. |

Sorry, this will be the last i promise!
In openoffice (1.1, it might be in other versions too) spreadsheet, select 'format cells -> numbers' and select 'time'
the sample time used is 13:37 lol, that can't have been randomly picked. _________________ I am SPAM, hear me roar.

No, I think you're absorbing too much radiation from the monitor... maybe you should take a break from Linux... |

Linux does exactly what I want, when I want, how I want it to be done. To boot it doesn't do anything that I don't want it to do. Ever. |

It kicks ass because The guys who did it are both really fun and serious!
The example of army america is representative.
With Linux you can :
- take fun
- working
- hacking
That's Linux powerI think |
