Hi all, I just made the big switch from windoze to linux, i have been dualbooting for a while and now just finally gave up windoze.
I am running fluxbox, but whenever i go to Exit, not shtudown, just click exit. fluxbox disappears, and i get a brown/black screen, no console or anything. I have runlevel 3 selected in my inittab, so i start without x. I can shutdown with /sbin/shutdown -r/h now and that works fine (x never exits though, flux just sits there, and then my mouse stops, and than my comp stops) any ideas? |

Have you tried killing X by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Backspace? |
