|
|
So I've uninstalled udev and I'm trying to install eudev, but I've bumped into a problem. I'm getting the following error:
You're missing a /dev/fd symlink to /proc/self/fd.
I've done my searches on the interwebs, but I've not come up with a solution that works? If you have a solution I'd sure like to hear it.
Thanks for taking this time to read my post.

Can I just check: this is when you tried to emerge eudev?
I've added it to the tip here; if that's incorrect let me know and I'll change it. |

That was when I first notice the error yes. Following the above instructions fixed the error and I was able to install eudev.
