I want to try out JFS, and was wondering if yaboot, Gentoo PPC, and or Linux PowerPC support JFS. This is not intended to be a disscusion of file systems. |

Well actually filesystem X is better...;)
...Anyway all joking aside, i dont know if there is support in yaboot for JFS on the /boot parition (dont even know if yaboot works that way) but it should defenetly work if you have a seperate /boot partition as say ext3.
Having gotten the boot part out of the way macs just use regular IDE disks, once it boots anything goes. |
