|
|
I'm moving my Minecraft server from FreeBSD to Gentoo Linux due to lack of file system security with FreeBSD in the case I loose the power, since that happens at times where I live.
I need a new start-up script for Minecraft to do this. Since I am going to be running Minecraft server as an user with its own contained environment in Gentoo Linux.
I have only found this start-up script for Linux server.
I however don't think it is good enough to run on Gentoo Linux without some changes for Gentoo Linux. I am not good enough in shell script to edit the parts that I need. Since I normally don't write start-up scripts (or any scripts at all).
Thanks for the help. |

Then I am just going to extract the start-up script from the overlay ebuild (once the website starts to work). I didn't know that one existed since I don't user the overlay system. |

The website is gone and I don't think it is coming back. I still need a minecraft start-up script for my server. The one that I have only returns errors to me when I try to run it. |
