|
|
Hi. I have a laptop with
pacmd list-sinks: |
ports:
analog-output: Analog Output (priority 9900, latency offset 0 usec, available: unknown)
properties:
analog-output-speaker: Speakers (priority 10000, latency offset 0 usec, available: no)
properties:
device.icon_name = "audio-speakers"
analog-output-headphones: Headphones (priority 9000, latency offset 0 usec, available: yes)
properties:
device.icon_name = "audio-headphones"
|
I have no idea, what analog-output is, but it gives no sound nowhere, and has higher priority than the headphones. And if I boot with the headphones plugged in, then output defaults to analog-output.
What is the proper way to change these priorities? I found that they are given in
/usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/analog-output.conf
and changing them there really helps, but /usr is not a proper path for user configuration, and I am likely to forget to change it again after update. |
