[SOLVED] hardened gentoo

Hi,

The latest hardened stage3 is from April 2014 according to http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/x86/autobuilds/, while several non-hardened versions have been released since then.

I suppose it's OK and that a new hardened stage3 will be released soon?

I Insalled a hardened amd64 VM over the last few days and got -20141023.
Maybe your mirror is ont of date?

It won't matter - you will update it anyway.

In fact, http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/amd64/autobuilds/latest-stage3-amd64-hardened.txt shows that 20141023 is the latest stage3.
However, I'm using x86 and http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/x86/autobuilds/latest-stage3-i686-hardened.txt is referring to the 20140415 stage3.

Maybe most of the hardened devs have moved to amd64 and or not maintaining x86 anymore?

Anyway, I guess it's not too important since I can then update the whole system with a recent tarball.
