Is there a startup splash screen in gnome 3.12 (systemd)?
gdm and X start correctly but I can't see the splash screen. why?
thanks in advance _________________ *** !f j00 c4n r34D tH15 tH3N j00 n33D t0 l0g Off *** |

if you mean after you login with gdm is there a splash screen? no there is not.
but if you mean at startup (i.e from boot) there is plymouth and the older splashutils, if this is the case I'd choose plymouth it has a better transition into gdm
hope this helped |
