My USB keyboard seems to randomly stop responding. The laptop keyboard works fine. It doesn't happen all the time but it is getting slightly annoying. Anyone seen this one before? I am on kernel 3.14.18-gentoo.
Thanks! |

You could get some info to when the disconnect happens if you let
run in a (temporary) console window.
USB connects and disconnects usually show up there. |

Does the keyboard remain powered during the time when it is not responsive? |

Thanks for the responses guys. I just opened up a console window with the dmesg ill check and see if anything pops up. I have been monitoring dmesg but seen nothing as of yet. The keyboard does appear to stay on when the problem happens. To be sure going forward i put on the num lock so I can check if the light goes out. |

I can confirm I'm also getting this issue on a fairly fresh install.
Will keep an eye on dmesg. |
