"Topic Reply Notifications" stopped?

It seems that there has been a real slow down over the past few days with topic reply notifications, I've generally replied to the topic before the mail arrives. As of today there are no notifications at all ... the threads that recieved a reply since my visit late yesterday have not arrived as of this morning. This suggests an issue with either my mail delivery (which seems to be working fine otherwise) or something related to infra. Whatever the case I thought it worth mentioning, it could be nothing, but better something you're aware of than not. I'll look into my end, but as I said it doesn't seem to be effected in terms of normal mail delivery.

One of the infrastructure machines was inadvertently brought down by an update. (Bad Developer. No biscuit.) That's my guess, although I don't know specifically which machine handles those.
