Hi Gentoo admins,
Problem observed: forum visitors are declining pretty rapidly.
Suggested reason: forums as a communication tool is dying.
Suggested solution: move to StackOverflow-like platform, coupled with a new http://gentoo.org theme/layout.
Expected results: more gentoo users. |

Insufficient data provided to verify observation as being truthful or honest.

Forums as a communication tool aren't dying.
Although this won't increase visitors, I do think these forums do need to upgrade from phpBB 2.0.23 to 3.1.3. |

StackExchange and forums are two different means of collecting information
StackExchange is closer to a Wiki than a forum. Their aim is to collect the correct answer to a bunch of questions.
A forum is a place to collect discussions _________________ #define HelloWorld int
#define Int main()
#define Return printf
#define Print return
#include <stdio>
HelloWorld Int {
Return("Hello, world!\n");
Print 0; |
