I installed savage and it was working fine but that was in gnome2.2
I did emerge -u gnome and now savage 'logs me out' when I start it..I get no errors and no savage screens of anykind it just flat logs me out of the desktop and no discernable errors..
anyone now what might be causing this?

same problem here, ran from console, the only thing that comes up is system_init() and then a few minutes later, back to desktop with nothing in the console.
Happening to anyone else?
I am running the Radeon drivers. |

You might have better luck fixing your problem over at the support forum at www.s2games.com.
