Just noticed this when compiling a new gentoo-sources kernel today on one of my amd64 sytems:
Code: | Excluding Patch #5000_enable-additional-cpu-optimizations-for-gcc.patch |
IIRC, it was included (as usual) on all my other gentoo systems (x86, or amd64).
Is there a reason why patch #5000 is now being excluded, and is this permanent, or just something temporarily wrong with this patch?
I've never had any problem with this with any kernel version, and BTW, no problems with the BFQ scheduler enabling patch, which also seems to have been left out..
I was really pleased when Gentoo started adding these to "Experimental."
Anyone know what's going on? Is this just currently a kernel-3.19.0 problem with these two patches? _________________ Main box- AsRock x370 Gaming K4
