I recently installed gentoo and after installation, I noticed that I did not have mkfs.reiserfs. I have reiserfstune and reiserfsfsck, but not mkfs.reiserfs and I cannot find anything online that points to it being in the emerge package tree. Is this package available through emerge, if so, what is it called, or if not where can I obtain mkfs.reiserfs?

It should be /sbin/mkreiserfs NOT mkfs.reiserfs  |
