|
|
Hi all - suddenly (I don't know which update caused this) I am
getting perl errors from a cron job which is running snapback2
Here is the email from cronie:
Quote: | perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LANGUAGE = (unset),
LC_ALL = "",
LC_TIME = "en_IM.UTF-8",
LANG = "en_US.utf8"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to a fallback locale ("en_US.utf8"). |
If I run the job from konsole as the cron user or root I do not get
these errors.
Anyone know the reason / have a fix? TIA _________________ .... there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth

Looks like either your cron daemon's initscript isn't loading /etc/profile or cron itself is wiping out the environment, either way you'll have to do that manually. |
