What niceness are you using for you gentoo computer(s) and why? It would also be interesting to know what you use the specific computers for.
For myself:
I use gentoo on my main desktop computer. I haven't set a niceness yet, thats why I posted this topic, to get some good suggestions  |

| I run it at nice level 10 to ensure it gets long timeslices when I'm not using the CPU, and my system isn't interrupted by it constantly hogging shit. |
