um.
There are, aren't there? On the grp cds - packages/All/xfree86-blah-blah-blah
all the packages to make a gnome install should be there too.

That is correct, but how do I add them to a livecd using emerge? |

Provided you have the correct portage snapshot (matches the version of the GRP packages on the cd) you can just copy them over to your chroot and emerge -k gnome emerge -k xfree. This is all explained in install docs. Don't update your portage with emerge sync if you want to use binary packages otherwise it will attempt to get them off the net. _________________ Is that a huge bandwidth or are you just happy to see me? |

Where in the chroot do I cp them too? |
