I have DBD-mysql installed

but on the CPAN page there are two Bundle::DBD::mysql listed, one is at version 2.0419 and the other one is version 2.9002. In the ebuild dir for DBD-mysql 2.1027 is the latest. I am confused which DBD::mysql this ebuild is using. The CPAN listing can be found here
I want the version 2.9002 one because it was last modified on Oct 2003. Any ideas? |

I went to the URL where the ebuild was getting the source from and noticed that the version I was interested in was also in that directory. So i simply created my own ebuild with the version I wanted, downloaded the right version, generated the digest and smoothly upgraded my DBD-mysql to the latest version.

Hopefully I didn't screw myself over by doing this. I don't think I could have broken any dependencies or anything like that but I can't be sure. Now on with the development! |
