Dual boot Gentoo/Windows 8.1 with GRUB2 and secure boot

Hello everyone,

I was struggling with chain loading Windows 8.1 using GRUB2 as bootloader. The problem was, that Windows 8.1 was installed using secure boot, so chain loading the windows bootloader with GRUB2 using non-secure boot failed. So I searched around the net a little and found a way to get secure boot and chainloading the windows bootloader running.

It would be really nice to get some feedback on my implementation of this, since I'm a novice in that field. Anyhow it works

I like it; nice clear description of how to save off the Microsoft keys, and restore them after setup of our own.
