Nautilus opens twice

Does somebody else has this problem? When I log into Gnome Nautilus will work normal but after a while when I open Nautilus thrue a desktop icon Nautilus will open twice, one is the home directory the other the link the icon is directing too. When I close one of the Nautilus windows in the other one the icons disappear and a message windows popup with following message:

The Icons view encountered an error and can't continue. You can choose another view or go to a different location.

Anybody has a solution?
