Has anyone been able to get xpad and xbox 360 to work in Gentoo? I enabled all the xpad drivers in the kernel. The usb dongle and the xbox 360 led ring lights up. However, the controller does not works in mame or qmc2. When using xboxdrv, it works. I would like to get xpad working because I am having privilege issues with xboxdrv though. _________________
Checkout #grandmasboy on freenode...chat with jayP bot from the movie!
|

I have the same problem with xpad.
I set xpad et joydev as modules in kernel (so loaded at the system boot) but in the dolphin emulator (or other), it doesn't detect any Xbox360 pad . |

I have mine working. The 'Home' button never stops blinking but otherwise it works. You are 100% certain you are using the USB based one and not the RF one? |
