switch back into X/11 from console. It looks very wired (colourful) and prevents very much from continuing work. The screen freezes, but the SysRq key still works. and also, after switching from X/11 to terminal instead of a white cursor there are four pink squares shown (each tty)
What's that? Otherwise, very nice stuff, my first working Gentoo

| I'm seeing this problem as well. Also, X running w/ TV-out only never turns VGA back on when it exits, for me. |

| I haven't tested properly, this is just from memory... but I think TV-out causes my problem. I have a few different layouts I use for X, because I use the TV-out for MythTV but most of the time I just use X w/ one screen w/ a monitor. It seems that it's ok after I start the computer w/ X in that layout, and I can go back to a text console, but then it gets hosed after I've used the TV out... |
