Hi all is there anyone that can tell me how to get my wifi card going in my desktop computer. I have tried everything and I'm pulling my hair out at the moment.
This is a new install and I used genkernel all but it didn't pickup my wifi card and I need wifi as Im away from the modem in my house.
I have kde installed and running but cannot for the life of me get wifi working.
when I do a lspci I get Atheros AR93XX Network Adapter listed.
I have compiled a kernel with Atheros support but its still now working. Is there anyway I can just go back to genkernel all or do I have to do something else.
Please help!!!!!!!
Respectfully

How are you trying to configure that interface and what results you see?
those 2 commands are a good start:
ifconfig -a
lspci -nnk | grep -i 'ath' |
