access violation emerge t1lib-1.3

hi all,
since i'm new to gentoo and linux compilation from source, i'm not sure if this is a bug in the t1lib-1.3 ebuild or a misconfiguration of portage.

while emerging t1lib-1.3 i get an
ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY on mkdir: /usr/share/texmf/fonts/pk and all its subdirectories
i tried to install it with emerging lyx-utils-1.1.6.4.ebuild

system:
gentoo 1.1a as usermode linux under RH7.1
packages installed: stage1, stage2, stage3, XFree, mozilla, windowmaker, no kde, no gnome

lyx works !
