Hello,
I installed kde 3.2beta aside from kde 3.14.
How can I add the old kde to the kdm menue?
(I had a look at kdmrc, but the old Session option is not working as
before.)

Maybe your /etc/X11/Sessions/kde-3.1.4 file is missing. Recreate it using /etc/X11/Sessions/kde-3.2 file. _________________ Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright before you hear them speak. |

No, it is not missing.
I had to recreate the kdmrc file with "genkdmconf --no-old" to get kdm working
at all.
I did try the option --old-kde /usr/kde/3.1/conf/kdm as well, but than kdm didn't work at all.

Hello,
finally I installed gdm (emerge gdm), changed kdm to gdm in
/etc/rc.conf and now everything works fine.
GDM seams to be much better than kdm.
