A little while back I manually installed some of the Alpha2 KDE packages that weren't in portage but the time is coming when I want to uninstall them, is there a simple way to do it like:
Code:

make uninstall

or
Code:

make remove

If it's more complicated than that please let me know.

Usually you have to enter the directory with the source code of the installed packages and just run 'make uninstall'. If the directory that was used to compile the package was deleted and now you just unpacked the source again, then you have to run './configure' before 'make uninstall'.

*edit*
I forgot to mention that packages that are installed manually, if you don't specify a prefix, they are installed in /usr/local/. Hope that helps! :)

Thank you for the reply, I felt a little embarrsed to ask because of my 'Guru' status. I will try it within a week here.
