When I try to install packit and some other packages, I get this error.
emerge packit
Calculating dependencies
!!! all ebuilds that could satisfy "packit" have been masked.
!!! Error calculating dependencies. Please correct.
I installed Gentoo 1.4 from CD and got most stuff working, but I can't get some of these packages installed. I know I have space on both devices.

| Have you done an emerge sync lately? I just tested it and it isn't masked right now for me. |
