Why 3.18.x is removed from sys-kernel/hardened-sources

just curious,
anyone know why 3.18.x is removed from grsecurity, and hence sys-kernel/hardened-sources?
from kernel.org, 3.18.20 is still LTS.

It's been superseded by 4.1, which is marked stable in portage.
