I am trying to get an ssh client installed.

emerge -pu ssh
tells me that there are no masked or unmasked packages to satisfy this.

emerge -pu kssh
says that kssh will be installed. I don't know what kssh is, however...

What would be the correct action here? Note, btw, that I don't want/need an ssh server, just a client.

Hello!

I'm using openssh, which - as I think- was installed automatically with Gentoo. Therefore just tpying
Code:
ssh

should already show you the help page. The ssh server (sshd) should also have been installed already, but won't be running by default.

Greetings,

Scotty
