A recent update w.r.t. ncurses is showing there is no 64bit libncurses.so.5
It builds so.5 and so.6 for 32bit but only so.6 for 64bit
intentional or a bug?

whether that is the desired end-game, it doesn't explain why 64bit is missing the 5.so
I have symlinked (for the binary applications that expect 5.so) to keep them happy for now
