Hello, community!
I plugged in Radeon HD 6790 video card into my gentoo computer.
Is seems I won't build ringt kernel for this hardware (no driver line here):
Code:
home ~ # lspci -kk
...
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Barts LE [Radeon HD 6790]
Subsystem: Hightech Information System Ltd. Barts LE [Radeon HD 6790]

I read Xorg and Radeon manuals form wiki but it wasn't helpful.
Any help? :)

I solved it.
If Radeon video driver is built into kernel (not a module) than a custom firmware support must be added.
It requires radeon-ucode package compiled and firmware kernel modules configured.
The full story can be found here - https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Radeon#Firmware
