Enlightenment E16 Systray Won't Resize

I am using enlightenment e16 (v 1.0.11) from portage. Yesterday I did something to my systray now it is almost just a vertical line and does not display anything when I minimize a window (ex: xterm window). I can get to the systray settings menu (which does not help) and close the systray. Then I can create a new systray (Settings -> Desktop -> Create Systray) but it has the same issue.
Any idea how to get systray working again?

I solved this by brute force: I moved ~/.e16 to ~/.e16.bak then restarted X. I had to reconfigure my background and themes but the 'new' copy of e16 does not have systray size issues.
