If I have one instance of Firebird already open and I go into the shortcut to it again, it prompts me for profile manager, and when I choose "default" it says "Mozilla Firebird cannot use the profile "default" because it is in use. Please choose another profile or create a new one."
How can I solve this problem? What is the correct way to create shortcuts?

Your shortcut points to /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird? If it doesn't, change it. It's a script that checks whether Firebird is running and, if so, opens another window. |
