I'm trying to set my jre. Here is the error:
Code: |
# eselect java-nsplugin set 64bit oracle-jdk-bin-1.8
!!! Error: Expected "/usr/share/java-config-2/nsplugin/oracle-jdk-bin-1.8-javaplugin.so" to exist, but it doesn't.
!!! Error: Perhaps "oracle-jdk-bin-1.8" isn't a valid name of VM built with nsplugin?
|
Any hints?
I don't want to go out an install a bunch of packages to get jre to work with firefox.
So I thought I'd query the forum.
I have jdk and jre installed and java runs and compiles.

Seems like you missed to set the nsplugin USE flag for that package? |
